OurBuilding Inspectorperforms a variety of technical building inspection duties to enforce compliance with building codes, regulations, and ordinances. This is accomplished by performing work site inspections, offering assistance to developers, architects, contractors, and the general public, and resolving issues related to building code compliance. Other duties include performing a variety of technical tasks related to the services and programs of the Planning and Development Services Department and performing code enforcement of city ordinances.

What You Bring To Us:
- AnAssociate's Degreeor equivalent certifications and experience.
- Two (2) yearsof relevant experience.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain within 6 months, a State of TexasPlumbing InspectorLicense.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a State of TexasCode Enforcement Officer License.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, aResidential Energy Code InspectorCertification (ICC).
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, aCommercial Energy Code Inspector(ICC).
